How to Make TikTok Spaghetti

Alright, let’s chat about the foodie side of TikTok.

It is THE place to be, seriously! I’ve been using TikTok as my new search engine for recipes for a while.

One thing is for sure, people will tell you (the creator!) their thoughts, ALL OF THEM.

The good, the bad, the uglier than ugly…

So, if a host of people say the recipe is delish, and they make it and post it, it’s delish!

Start by gathering your ingredients!

This recipe has three components that are cooked.

  1. The Spaghetti Noodles.
  2. The Quick Alfredo Sauce.
  3. The Meat Sauce.

Let’s work our way backward, starting from the meat sauce.

I used my 1+5 Spaghetti Sauce! It’s what I use for Angry Lasagna, Gnocchi Bolognese, etc.

Anytime I have a recipe that needs a meaty tomato sauce, this is the recipe I use.

Making the Red Meat Sauce

You can use ground beef, Italian sausage, ground chicken, or ground turkey for your protein.

If you like your meat sauce on the spicy side, be sure to add a hefty pinch of red pepper flakes. It wakes the entire recipe up, without overpowering anything.

You could also use spicy sausage for the best-baked spaghetti recipe!

The biggest tip to making this taste like a freshly made bolognese sauce is to use fresh garlic cloves and fresh basil at the end.

You can make the marinara meat sauce the day before, letting the flavors deepen as it sits in the fridge, or you can make it right when you need it.

That’s why I love using Rao’s Marinara as my marinara sauce! The flavor is built in, and you can quickly move on to the next step after you stir this recipe up.

You can use your favorite brand’s jar of spaghetti sauce!

Quick Alfredo Sauce

The Quick Alfredo uses Boursin cheese, heavy cream, lots of parmesan cheese, butter, and garlic.

Of course, use a jarred version if you’re up for it!

If you are rushed for time, skip the recipe for Quick Alfredo, and use a jar of your favorite Alfredo sauce! Lots of users have done that and love it.

In a small pot, melt a few tablespoons of butter, and shave in a few garlic cloves. I love using a Microplane here to shave the garlic over the pot, right into the butter. Make sure your pot is on low heat so the butter and the garlic don’t burn!

Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the Boursin cheese. No need to make sure every single lump is out, it will melt into the spaghetti when the whole thing bakes in the oven later.

However, that being said, if you were to serve this as an alfredo pasta sauce, whisk it until all the lumps melt together.

You can find all the measurements in the recipe card below. This homemade alfredo sauce is a super delicious base for any cream sauce!

Super creamy with the heavy whipping cream front and center! You could also add in some cream cheese or sour cream for a bit of tang. In Million-Dollar Spaghetti they add in the other dairy products, and it does make it a very good, different pasta bake.

Cook your spaghetti according to the package, but reduce the time by a couple of minutes, if you want the noodles al dente.

Assembling the Baked Spaghetti

cooked spaghetti noodles in a baking dish

In a buttered baking dish, pour in your cooked spaghetti noodles.

Before we move on, let’s talk about baking dishes.

You want something that will hold the heat really well. This casserole needs 15-20 minutes of rest time before you cut into it, so you want a baking dish that will hold heat!

I love this one from Staub!

Drizzle the Quick Alfredo Sauce over the top, and stir to coat each noodle.

Yep! Right in the casserole dish. You won’t believe how this creamy sauce and noodles just sink in together.

You might think that it’s too much, it’s too saucy, but trust me!

The al dente noodles absorb most of the liquid from the alfredo sauce and create this cheesy pasta that will remind you of Million Dollar Spaghetti if you’ve ever had it.

Top the cheesy spaghetti noodles with the meat sauce, then cover them with mozzarella cheese.

If you’re making this ahead of time, cover it with aluminum foil, and leave it out on the counter until close to room temperature before storing it in the fridge.

You can follow the directions in the recipe for heating from storing.

Bake this at 350˚ for 30 minutes, until the top is golden brown and bubbling.

Serving this Easy Dish

Allow the baked spaghetti to sit 20 minutes before serving.

The best thing you can do is WAIT to eat this.

Have you ever cut into your lasagna, only to have it run all over the place?!

Letting a casserole rest is just like resting your steak when it comes off the grill. The casserole got all creamy and dreamy, relaxing to its max. Now it needs some time to stiffen up! How’s that for a weird analogy?!

After the viral TikTok recipe has rested for 20 minutes, cut a piece, and watch it disappear!

This is comfort food at its max, and one of the pasta recipes, you’ll be making over and over!
