Make Your Own Sandwich Board
This weekend the Masters was happening, we hosted a shower, my brother and sister-in-law were here, and we were BUSY! So, for Sunday’s lunch, to make things super easy, I put out a make your own sandwich board.
This was incredibly easy! I made my {famous} pimento cheese (don’t bake this one!) — baked some bacon — sliced some tomatoes — and tore some lettuce. Unwrapped the Hawaiian Bread, and added all to a large cutting board… It really was that simple! We sat at the table while making sandwiches, and eating coleslaw and chips. This ‘make your own sandwich board’ will become a staple!
Think of the possibilities! Here are some sandwich ideas from others that I’m going to try…
Meggan’s Turkey Avocado BLT Croissants — YUM!
Valentina’s California Club Sandwich — Oh. My!
The Cozy Apron’s Classic Italian Sub Sandwich — I love Jersey Mike’s, and this looks like a WINNER!
If you could make a sandwich board, what would it include?? Tell me in the comments what your favorite sandwich combo is!
XOXO,
P.S. Don’t forget! Pinners Conference is a week away! Grab your tickets now, before they sell out! Use code SWEETPEA for 10% off!
I love Italian sub sandwiches, so I would probably make my sandwich board with that kind of theme. I think this is a great idea for parties, too. #HomeMattersParty
Definitely LOVE italian subs! My sister-in-law is italian, can’t wait to try it again with her in mind!
This is awesome. The best thing to have during weekend lunch! #homemattersparty
Right?! It is SO easy, too!!
Love your sandwich board idea. #HomeMattersParty
Thank you, Sahana!
My board would definitely have black forest ham and lots of choices in cheese – and of course bacon. This is such a great idea for a party. Thanks for sharing at #HomeMattersParty
BACONNNN!!!!!!!!!!!
Great…now I’m hungry! Loved the ideas…photos are amazing!
And this coming from someone who’s Celiac….with a few tweaks, I’m good! 🙂
YES!!! I thought about that… Celiac peeps could enjoy this, too! Low carb/keto peeps, paleo peeps, the list goes on!
Great idea for a busy weekend with extra people. #HomeMAttersParty
Yes! We’re having this “board” again this weekend for brunch — all the stuff to fix an egg sandwich!
