Goat Cheese Toast with Pepper Jelly is a quick and easy appetizer recipe idea that uses three ingredients and is ready in under 10 minutes.
Need the easiest snack recipe you can think of?? This uses the end of the goat cheese, the last of the pepper jelly jar, and the remaining few baguette slices.
It’s something you can whip up while your friend is talking to you, who showed up last minute.
It’s a snack for any porch gathering, small group meeting, get together, game day, or all the things in between.
HOW DO YOU MAKE THIS EASY APPETIZER?
Well, it’s VERY simple… You toast some bread, slather pepper jelly on top, crumble goat cheese on top, and bake until warm and bubbly.
We’ve all seen the magazine ‘recipes’ with this extremely easy step-by-step ordeal.
And there are millions of variations on this! So, this is nothing new, for most people.
I could talk you through making your own jam.
Which is very easy to do – it’s the canning part that’s hard.
Jam is simply fruit and sugar boiled down together.
Pepper jelly is just that, peppers and sugars, boiled down!
Lay this out on a big platter for a cocktail party, and people can just pop one on their plates. No forks or knives required!
WHAT ELSE COULD YOU SERVE AT A COCKTAIL PARTY?!
- Baked Brie with Apricot Jelly
- Baked Spinach Artichoke Dip
- Roasted Shrimp Cocktail
- Festive Moscow Mules
- Juice of a Few Flowers
These easy appetizer recipes and cocktails would be a great place to start.
What Else Can I Make with Goat Cheese?
- Goat Cheese Grits
- Sun-Dried Tomato Goat Cheese Dip
- Pomegranate Goat Cheese Chicken
- Italian Cheese Spread
Seriously, this is just about the most simple snack idea ever. But, it is so addictive.
If you’re too lazy to make each toast individually, just pour the pepper jelly over a log of goat cheese. Serve with crackers, and watch it disappear in no time!
