Easy Greek Layer Dip
Easy Greek Layer Dip is filled with the flavors of Greece and layered into a convenient dip for an appetizer recipe idea.
I love love love a good dip.
And one thing about a good dip is it’s got to be easy.
Easy Greek Layer Dip couldn’t be any more simple.
You can literally race around your grocery store, grab all your ingredients, come home, and plop it all out.It makes a great dip, amazing greek chicken wrap “spread,” and super great blended together and tossed with romaine.
What’s in Easy Greek Layer Dip?
- Hummus
- Tzatziki
- Tomatoes
- Artichokes
- Roasted Red Peppers
- Olives
- Feta Cheese
Here’s how you make it…
Grab a platter and spread some hummus on it
I liked using this long platter, so more hands can get in there on the Christmas Cocktail Party buffet line.
Now, grab some tzatziki – I purchased mine from Aldi, feel free to do the same. You could make your own, and I’m 100% sure it would be better. But, when you are trying to get out a lot of different appetizers for a big party, store-bought is great. Ina says so, too!
Smoosh it all around, leaving a border of the hummus, so folks can see what is in this easy appetizer recipe.
Next, we’re going to add all the veggies.
Pro Tip: Purchase the artichoke salad. It’s got marinated artichokes, roasted red peppers, and olives all in one tidy jar. Just drain them, and cut them up.
I sliced tomatoes of all colors up to put on there too. It was just delicious!
Optional Additions:
- Extra diced cucumbers (be sure to deseed, so the watery business doesn’t weep out.)
- Green Onions
- Kalamata Olives
- Fresh Dill
Kitchen Items You Might Need:
Keep arranging everything so that everything is evenly spread out.
You want to be able to dip your pita chip in and get a little something of everything.
Finally, top with feta cheese, and LOTS of it! ((A few grinds of black pepper is nice too. Just saying!))

What do You Serve with Easy Greek Layer Dip?
- Pita Chips are my favorite!
- Cut up Naan would be delicious, too.
- Cut up veggies would be great.
- Or, even putting out lettuce cups for an enjoyable meat-free lettuce wrap.
Can I make this dip in advance?
You sure can! I assembled this the morning of the party — and just gently wrapped it in plastic wrap and left it in the fridge until party time.
You could definitely even make this the night before (especially if you’re serving around lunchtime!).
How long will this dip last in the fridge?
If you happen to have any leftover, I suggest you plop it all into a container and stir it up so it’s combined.
Then use as a spread for sandwiches, lettuce wraps, tortilla roll-ups, etc.
I also blended mine with a bit of red wine vinegar and used it as a dressing for a giant greek salad.
