Sun Dried Tomato Goat Cheese Dip is the perfect appetizer for any dinner party, and the classy dip you need at every cocktail party!
It’s no surprise that hosting parties is second nature to me — and I’ve come to realize that I enjoy doing back to back parties. I’ll host a baby shower one day, and a birthday party the next. The house is clean, the tables and chairs are cleared, everything is out, WHY NOT?! I’m not trying to brag, this is what I do really well, and why I started Sweetpea! Want to know more about how Sweetpea Lifestyle got started, listen to this podcast episode!
Something that is helpful after each party — and that I’ve wanted to do for a while, but never have! — is making a scrapbook of sorts for parties. Include what kind of event it was, who was invited, what was served. Was there a dish that was a hit? What was leftover and how much? What took way too much time, and what would you make over and over. This could be really helpful when planning menus!
This Goat Cheese Dip with Sun Dried Tomatoes is something that I will serve over and over in our household. Seriously! It can be made DAYS in advance, and baked just before serving. Serve with sliced baguette, sliced croissants (as seen pictured, it was quite decadent!), crackers, or even raw veggies.
You can read how I choose menu items for a cocktail party in this post. Use these tips anytime you are serving a buffet of sorts to people!
Inside my Hospitality Handbook, you can find several party Game Plans that will help you create the most unforgettable memories around the table. Including my go to recipes for every type of party. It’s super helpful to have something you don’t need to think about! Just print the Game Plans, shop it all, and your battle is almost won.
Over the years, I noticed I was using the same method for planning parties with one simple sheet of notebook paper. Using this method, I created a printable worksheet you fill in for each party — it’s available in my resource library that you’ll need a password to. Subscribe to my email list at the end of this post, and the password will magically appear in your inbox! The resource library is filled with printables you can use everyday for hosting all kinds of events.
So, let’s chat about this Sun Dried Tomato Goat Cheese Dip….
Y’all. It is SO flipping delicious! Toss sun dried tomatoes with balsamic vinegar, plop room temperature goat cheese in the center, and bake until brown and bubbly. Using a cute spreader I know you have in your drawer, slather it on a baguette slice, croissant (as seen here!), cracker, or pretzel chip!
This will be unbelievable on grilled chicken or salmon… Just saying!
