Easy Wedge Salad Recipe
An easy wedge salad recipe that includes bacon, cheese, fried onions, and ranch dressing.
From this picture, you can see this lettuce isn’t in “wedge” form — it’s cut into a disc! This is a classic take on Ina Garten’s Crunchy Iceberg Salad – using her “disc” method. Not only does the disc maximize space, it gives an even surface for all the good stuff to be piled high on top.
Wedge Salad was one of my first few posts on Sweetpea Lifestyle, wayyyyy back in the day!! #oldphotos…. I decided I not only needed to update the photos, but also the recipe. To make this a crowd friendly recipe — just slice the discs onto a big platter (I’ve even used a plain sheet pan! No one should be judging you!), and created each salad without the dressing. Guests can top their salads with as much as dressing as they choose! An easy wedge salad recipe that includes bacon, cheese, fried onions, and ranch dressing. Cut your lettuce into discs, and either plate individually, or onto a big platter if you're serving a crowd. Top with all the toppings of cheese, bacon, cucumbers, fresh onions, and fried onions. Place in fridge until ready to serve. Top with dressing just before serving. As an Amazon Associate and member of other affiliate programs, I earn from qualifying purchases.
