All the Cheese Cheeseball
This All the Cheese Cheeseball uses 6 types of different cheese. It’s a super easy appetizer recipe idea for when you need a wow factor!
All the Cheese Cheeseball. What does that even mean?!
This delightful cheese log recipe has seven different types of cheese all rolled into one spreadable recipe perfect for any kind of cracker!
What cheese is in it?
- White Cheddar – I prefer the Cabot brand. However, whatever you can find is great!
- Yellow Sharp Cheddar – Make sure it is sharp or extra sharp. You want a really punchy cheddar.
- Blue Cheese – Roquefort is what I used in this recipe, but whatever blue cheese you like, use it!
- Goat Cheese – plain goat cheese that has been sitting out for an hour.
- Boursin Cheese – the herb kind is just so delicious! But, I’ve been known to use their shallot and chive one too!
- Cream Cheese – Make sure this is room temperature, so everything mixes really well together.
You’ll also need sliced green onions, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
One thing I love about a cheeseball recipe is you can make it however you like!
It’s one of my favorite recipes to serve as a Simple Dinner Party Menu Idea!
Don’t like blue cheese, leave it out!
If you have Swiss cheese instead of white cheddar, toss it in!
This is a recipe you can definitely play around with to create your own all-the-cheese cheeseball!
How to make All the Cheese Cheeseball
First, gather your cheeses that need to sit out for a bit to get close to room temperature.
The goat cheese and Boursin will mix better if they’ve been sitting out for 15-20 minutes.
Add the room temperature cream cheese, Boursin, blue cheese, and goat cheese to the bottom of a big mixing bowl.
Now, here comes the workout part. You want to hand grate the cheddars. The filler in the pre-shredded stuff gives a weird texture in your mouth, and it’s just not as yummy!
Use a box grater or a food processor with the grating attachment.
Add in your cheddars to the other cheeses.
Slice up 3-4 green onion stalks, including the white parts!
Sprinkle in your seasonings of red chili flakes, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
Then, using CLEAN hands give it all a big mix. Make sure everything seasoning and every cheese is thoroughly combined and evenly distributed.
You can every cheese on every slice of the cheese log! Ha!
Storing Your Cheeseball
Here is when you wrap it in plastic wrap and let the cheeseball or cheese log chill in the fridge for a few hours.
If you wanted to make this ahead of time and freeze it, double wrap it in plastic wrap, then place it in a freezer-safe ziptop bag.
You can make the cheeseball up to 5 days ahead of your party. And freeze it for up to 3 months.

This is the perfect appetizer to make for any holiday party, family gathering, or just a Tuesday with friends on the porch!
