If you’re a pizza fan, you are going to love this easy recipe. Lots of mozzarella cheese gets mixed with marinara sauce, pepperonis, sun-dried tomatoes, ranch dressing, and a few other things for a game-day dip that is sure to be a huge hit!

This pepperoni dip is also the best when you have all kinds of cheese in your fridge that you need to use up. You know, the ends of the bags, or leftovers of any sort. Toss them into the cheesy goodness, and your baguette slices will thank you.

How to Make Cheesy Hot Pizza Dip

First, let’s talk about the ingredients you’ll need:

Marinara Sauce: I used both an open jar of Rao’s Pizza Sauce and half a jar of Rao’s Marinara sauce. For me, this is my go-to jarred sauce, and I usually have a little bit left over in the fridge.

Cream Cheese: While you might not need this, I added it to the dip. Once again, I had half a brick of cream cheese and wanted to use it somehow.

Mozzarella Cheese: I added in pre-shredded mozzarella and a fresh mozzarella ball that I tore into the bowl with the other ingredients.

Boursin Cheese: Y’all, this little brick of Gournay Cheese that is flavored with basil and chives is unbelievable! I keep some in my fridge all the time and always put it to good use.

Pepperoni: I cut up pepperoni slices, but next time I make this, I’ll probably buy the mini pepperonis to make it easier.

Sun-Dried Tomatoes: I poured a tablespoon of the flavor-packed oil into the bowl and tore up a couple of tablespoons of sun-dried tomatoes from the jar.

Ranch Dressing: Leftover Wingstop Ranch was poured in, and put to good use, y’all! They’ve got top-notch ranch, and I’ve started mixing it with marinara sauce for a deliciously creamy sauce.

Italian Seasoning: Shake some of the Italian seasoning into this dip for extra flavor, y’all! So good.

Ingredients I didn’t use, but wouldn’t mind if I had them:

  • Parmesan Cheese
  • Green Peppers
  • Red Onion, or an onion of sorts
  • Hot Sausage
  • Fresh Basil

If you have a favorite toppings, this is the dip to use them in! Black olives, green bell peppers (any color of peppers!), jalapenos, fresh tomatoes, green onions, whatever you want.

Mixing Up the Best Pizza Dip

You can plop everything into the bowl, and blend with your Cordless Hand Mixer. In the video, you’ll see I mixed everything in stages, but this easy pizza dip doesn’t need to be mixed or layered in stages.

Just plop it all into the mixing bowl, mix it up, and get it into the oven.

Make sure you use an oven-safe dish like a 9-inch Pie Plate or another small baking dish.

I top it with some extra mozzarella cheese so you get that beautiful, golden brown topping you know and love from your favorite recipe.

This great appetizer can be made a few days ahead of time, too!

Bake the hot pepperoni pizza dip recipe in the oven, and when you take it out, watch this crowd-pleaser disappear!

You can add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes when it comes out if you do that to your pizza.

Take this fun pizza dip to fancy pizza dip with a sprinkle of fresh basil ribbons and a drizzle of balsamic glaze.

Serving the Ultimate Appetizer

After you’ve baked your pizza dip, you’ll serve it with either baguette slices that you’ve toasted, or any number of “dippers”

Serve with your favorite breadsticks or frozen and heated garlic bread. Serve with tortilla chips or pita chips.

If you’re a keto cheese lover, eat the dip with raw veggies or on its own.

However you serve it, it might become your favorite food to serve at parties.
