Thanksgiving Table Setting

I adore setting a table.

It’s kind of my thing. It’s one of my favorite parts of having a dinner party.

This year, we’re doing a mix of elegance and rustic.

I love mixing and matching items that wouldn’t necessarily go together. Burlap & faux diamonds.

This elegant white table cloth, topped with a rustic burlap runner.

Hurricane vases with a candle and the faux diamonds lining the inside, but having Ball mason jars & other clear vessels filled with tea lights with more scattered faux diamonds adds a bit of whimsy and elegance.

Diamonds are a girl’s best friend, don’t forget it!

The china and glasses are my mother’s china. The wine glasses are old crystal wine goblets my dad found in an antique store… He knows his girl well! (Sparkly, delicate, and vintage.)

Simple damask rust colored napkins are placed in the center of the plate, surrounded by homemade pearl napkin “rings” – really the pearls are just strung onto stretchy thread! Super quick and easy way to make an elegant napkin ring that didn’t cost a fortune! You can find that tutorial here.

One more sleep and my brother comes home from Raleigh! It’s going to be a wonderful day filled with laughter and merriment.

I am thankful for each of you, Sweet Friends!
