How to Make Homemade Peach Iced Tea

Here’s the equipment you’ll need:

peach simple syrup ingredients

First, we’ll make the Peach Simple Syrup.

Start by removing the skin from the peaches.

Slice peaches thin, discarding the pit.

Next, add peaches, 1 cup water, and 1 cup granulated sugar to a small saucepan and bring to a boil.

Crush the peaches and let simmer for 10 min.

Remove from heat, cover, and let infuse until a syrup develops (25-30 mins) be sure to stir occasionally.

Once the syrup is completed bring 8-9 cups of water to a boil over the stovetop.

Pour the peach simple syrup through a fine-mesh sieve, into a measuring cup.

Be sure to place your measuring cup UNDER the sieve… I can say without shame, I’ve dumped simple syrup all over the counter multiple times… ?‍♀️

Now, you’ll end up with the peaches without the juice. SAVE THESE FOR LATER!

Over ice cream, it’s delightful…
