Homemade Vanilla Extract! This makes a fantastic Homemade Vanilla Extract! This makes a fantastic “Beginning of Christmas” gift to your favorite people! ((SPOILER ALERT FOR MY PEOPLE!!)) This year, I’m making ‘Handmade Hampers’ for my special people for the holiday season. I adore the hampers from @fortnums and wanted to make my own. So, I’m taking you along on allll the canning, creating, and assembling over the next few months. Homemade Vanilla Extract: 🫙 Swing top bottles or Air Tight Jars 🥔 Vodka 🍦 Vanilla Beans ((I ordered mine!)) You’ll wash your container out and let it FULLY dry (i let it dry for a couple of days so there is no water in the container). Pour in your vodka. Add in the vanilla beans. I like to cut mine in half so they’ll fit AND so the beans get dispersed into the liquid. Close the lids and store in a dark place for a few months. I labeled the box and have it sitting in my closet. This Boursin Shallot Dressing is a bougie ranch dressing, okay! You take your (homemade!) ranch dressing, add in some @garlic.expressions dressing, plus half a knob of @boursincheese to a food processor. Add in a shallot, fresh garlic clove, and fresh basil, blend it all up, and you’ve got an amazing dressing for salad, or dip fresh veggies in it! Store in an air-tight jar for up to one week, it won’t last that long, I promise! If you need some measurements here you go: 1 cup Ranch Dressing 1/4 cup Garlic Expressions Dressing 1 Shallot, diced 3 Garlic Cloves, diced 2.5 ounces Boursin Shallot & Chive Flavored Cheese 1/2 cup Fresh Basil So good, y’all! 🍅 Marinated Tomatoes! Having marinated tomatoe 🍅 Marinated Tomatoes! Having marinated tomatoes in your fridge for salads is so easy, yet it packs a PUNCH of flavor! Here’s the marinade I use on my tomato wedges: 3 TBS Champagne Vinegar (Red Wine Vinegar is fine, too! Or Balsamic! Whatever you have!) 2 TBS Olive Oil 1 Sliced Shallot 1/4 tsp (+) Kosher Salt 1/4 tsp (+) Black Pepper 1 TBS Fresh Basil Add all these ingredients to the bottom of a bowl, and as you slice your tomatoes, just plop them in. Give the tomatoes and dressing a good, gentle stir to coat everything really well. I like to add in torn fresh mozzarella to add a little “something something” to my cheese! Spoon this over a salad, and it’s perfection! Add in capers and fresh mozzarella balls for even more flavor and texture! . . . #easyrecipes #summertimevibes #summersalad #tomatogirlsummer
🥥 Pina Colada Margaritas! These cocktails are 🥥 Pina Colada Margaritas! These cocktails are delightfully easy to make, with a bit of a frilly EXTRA step! For these glasses, I stamped them in sorghum syrup, then plopped them onto a mixture of toasted coconut, maldon sea salt, and brown sugar. I put these glasses in the freezer to let the sugar “adhere” and keep it ready for the cocktail when I’m ready to serve! Grab a jug of @barcoopbevvy’s Pina Colada mix, and fill it to THE LINE with tequila! Plus, if you're sober curious or NA, this drink mix is delightful with soda water for a Colada Spritz! Let’s make Creamy Red Wine Vinegar Dressing! FULL RECIPE: 2 TBS Red Wine Vinegar 1/4 cup Mayo 1/4 cup Sour Cream 2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce 1 tsp House Seasoning (see below!) 1/4 cup Avocado Oil (or olive oil!) 2 tsp Golden Syrup (use Honey if you don’t have golden syrup!) 1 tsp Dried Parsley (fresh works, too!) Shake all of this together in a jar, and serve with an “Everyday Salad.” ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ HOUSE SEASONING: 1/4 cup Salt 1/4 cup Onion Powder 1/4 cup Garlic Powder 1/8 cup Black Pepper Shake all of this together and use on almost everything! . . . #homemadesaladdressing #easysaladrecipe #saladdressing
