Caesar Dip Recipe
Caesar Dip is the creamy, cheesy flavors of the iconic dressing, but made into a dip that is perfect for veggies, or whatever you fancy!
Caesar Dip is the most amazing dip recipe, you’ll ever make.
At least I think so…
You probably have everything in your fridge and pantry to make this, and it’s perfect with a flip flop dipped in it.
But, raw veggies, roasted veggies, poured over salmon and baked in the oven. It’s just wonderful!
How to make Caesar Dip
First, gather your ingredients!
- Mayo
- Dijon Mustard
- Green Onions
- Dried Minced Onions
- Parmesan Cheese
- Worcestershire Sauce
- Anchovy Paste
- Black Pepper
- Salt
- Onion Powder
- Lemon Juice
Next, we’re going to plop everything into a big bowl.
You’ll mix it up, then store it in an air-tight container. in the fridge, for a week. If it lasts that long!
So, there are a few things you can add to this recipe once it’s made.
I don’t like putting fresh garlic in a dip or dressing I know will sit in the fridge for a few days.
Instead, I will grate a clove over a couple of spoonfuls and serve immediately.
This way, the delightful spiciness of fresh garlic will zing across your tongue without ruining your dip a couple of days later!
Caesar Dip is amazing tossed with romaine lettuce, a ton of freshly grated parmesan, and croutons. Just like regular Caesar Salad Dressing!
I love grabbing a small plate with raw veggies and a little bowl of caesar dip in the center. It’s the perfect healthy but doesn’t feel healthy snack (or lunch!) on a busy working day.
So, how is Caesar Dip different from the dressing?!
Typically, when you make Caesar Dressing, you’re making exactly this… But, you would use a raw egg yolk and make the mayonnaise in the bottom of the bowl.
And that is AMAZING! Ugh. Love that.
But, this takes a major shortcut by using prepared mayonnaise, y’all know I love me some Duke’s!
I call it a dip, because I use it more like a dip, however, it’s really just a thick salad dressing recipe!
Caesar Dip is amazing over salad greens, with lots of parmesan cheese. And, if you’re looking to up the Simple Steak Salad game, use Caesar Dip instead of any other dressing!
