It’s Day 8 of 31 Days to Successful Entertaining! Today I will share Lunch Party Ideas & Menus. Easy peasy ways to enjoy your friends and family over lunch time. These parties are great for after church, or a Saturday afternoon.

Lunch parties are such a great way to entertain. It’s an easy time of the day, people come eat and relax for a couple hours, then they are on their merry way! And, you have the rest of your day left.

Here are a few lunch time ideas:

Lunch in the Garden

Simple lunch of Grilled Lemon Chicken over Spinach with Grilled Zucchini & Yellow Squash. Posed in the garden under the pergola, this light lunch fit the mood perfectly!

Picnic in the Park

This is such an easy way of getting together with friends. Meet in the park and bring a picnic!

A few recipes to take on a picnic are the Classic Pimento Cheese Sandwiches with crisp potato chips and a Crudité platter. Pictured here are croissants with fig jam, pretzels with honey mustard, and pimento cheese with crackers. Snacky items work well on picnics. Remember to bring some lawn games for the family to play!

Princess Tea Party

This set up for was for a girls Princess Tea Party to celebrate the upcoming school year. While this wasn’t necessarily lunch, it occurred at lunch time. The girls feasted on treats of croissants and jam, goldfish, marshmallows, and tea. Of course, they enjoyed drinking tea.
