My dear, dear friend Marisol Collete from Sol Reflection gifted me some gorgeous clothing from Universal Standard. It’s my first pieces from this brand, and I have to say, I am floored.
Marisol and I met a few years ago when I did a photo shoot for Allrecipes. They hired her to be the stylist for the day, and let me tell you. She is so much more than a stylist! She calls herself “The Fashion Therapist,” and every time we are together, she reminds me just how human we all are.

Kate Denim Jumpsuit
This girl, me! LOVES a jumpsuit! Like, seriously.
This snap button STRETCHY denim jumpsuit is so so comfy and *cute!*
For my plus-size friends, in between every single button is a hidden snap that keeps the gaps closed. ((I’m not sure why I’m assuming this is a plus-size girlie problem… It’s not!))
For this jumpsuit, I’ll be wearing it casually with sneakers or loafers, and dressing it up with funky shoes.
I “pinned” the collar open and wide using my Stitchy, but plan to use vintage brooches another time.
All Day Palais Wide Leg Pants
When Marisol told me these were the pants that came in, I internally started the “these will never fit and never look good” mind battle.
However, THESE PANTS. First, they are a stretchy dream. The fabric is like butter, and they’re heavy, so they hang well. I’ll be wearing these all winter long.

Liquid Jersey Two-Way Long Sleeve Cross shirt is buttery soft, and so so comfortable.
The skirt uptop is from Amazon, and I’ve got it in several colors. This outfit makes me feel like a ballerina!
If I could have all of my clothing made out of this fabric, I would. The only way to describe it is luscious.
