First, let’s chat about Sloppy Joes for a minute…
I love making a homemade, delicious sloppy joe sauce with chili sauce, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and other simple ingredients. I’ll use this sauce to make the perfect recipe of sloppy joe sandwiches with hamburger buns, or use the loose meat mixture over tater-tots or even hot dogs!
For an Easy Sloppy Joe Dinner, get out your slow cooker! Once you’ve made a big pot of homemade sloppy joes, pour the meat sauce into your slow cooker. Put out buns and other toppings like dill pickles and red onion for a delicious topping idea! I love making up little sliders and serving those too. In other words, any way to make an easy dinner, I’m all in!
But, one thing to remember! If you’re hosting sloppy joe night for your family gatherings, you’ll want to *try* and make it easy on yourself! Choose side dish recipes that you can either make ahead or give the recipes to your people and have them bring them to the party! A delicious meal is always complete when others pitch in and help.
