How to Make Oven-Roasted Pulled Pork
To start you’ll need the following kitchen equipment:
For ingredients, you’ll need:
- Bone-in pork butt
- McCormick Smokehouse Maple Seasoning
- One can of pineapple rings
Step One: Season Pork Butt in your pan.
You’ll want to heavily coat the pork butt with the Smokehouse Maple Seasoning — it is delicious!!
Coat each side evenly, pressing in with your hands.
Get in there!
Step Two: Pour Pineapple Juice over top
With the fat side facing up, pour in the juice from the canned pineapple rings.
Then, place the pineapple rings on top.
Step Three: Cover with Foil
Cover the roasting pan with foil.
And make sure it is TIGHT!
Step Four: Roast in the oven.
Now, here’s where you just plain wait. Oven-roasted pork is an easy recipe, but a l-o-n-g waiting game.
Your pork needs to be incredibly tender so that the bone comes out clean, and the meat falls apart.
I like roasting at 350˚, and usually, it’s about 35-45 minutes per pound.
Here’s my tip: If two ‘everyday forks’ do not easily shred the pork, put it back in!

Step Five: Shred that bad boy!
Using two forks, shred apart.
