It’s also 10:30 am, and Imma make you hungry… prepare yourself!

Chicken Pot Pie is calling your name, and I’ve got the recipe that will have your people gathered up around the table in no time.

People are pretty nostalgic about their pot pies—did your mama or grandmama make one you just *loved*?!

🎟 I’ve got your ticket to an undeniably creamy, dreamy, unctuous chicken pot pie that will have your Fall dreams coming true.

We’ll start by roasting a chicken—and y’all it’s not complicated.

👩🏼‍🍳 Then, you’ll tie your apron on and get started with your southern belle heroics of making a roux with the sautéed veggies.

This will simmer with Thanksgiving-esque spices of sage, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.

Ladle all of this into a pie crust, arrange the top, and bake until golden brown.

The smells that waft through your home while this is baking are the scents of history books.

This is one of the sneaky recipes that I’ll make two, and freeze one for the week of Thanksgiving or the busy month of December.
