(No judgment here, y’all.) ✨ Fry Sauce Recipe: * 1 cup sour cream * 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce (Wooster sauce if you’re cheeky!😄) * 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (more if you like a lil’ kick!) * 1/2 tsp kosher salt * 1/2 tsp black pepper 👉 Mix it all together, then let it sit for 30 minutes so the flavors can get to know each other. 💡 After 30 mins, taste and tweak! They’re the ultimate easy side dish for dinner parties, weeknight meals, or snacky Sundays. ✨ 🔥 Ingredients: * 2 lbs baby gold or Yukon potatoes, halved * 1/2 stick butter, melted * 2 TBS Ranch Powder * 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese 👩‍🍳 Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. (Or use a baking dish that releases easily!) 2. Drizzle the melted butter in the bottom of the pan, mix in the ranch powder and parmesan cheese. 3. Spread that out so it’s an even layer. 4. Criss cross cut some fingerling potatoes, or mini yukon gold potatoes. 5. Place potatoes cut-side down directly on the Parmesan. Press them gently so they stick. 6. Roast for 30–40 minutes, until golden and crisp. 7. Let them cool 5 mins before lifting with a spatula. First things first: I love Vmerican cheese, but do not like velveeta. That chemically after-taste is just not for me. One year ago tonight, I sat in the dark and listen One year ago tonight, I sat in the dark and listened to trees crash to the ground around me. 
The wind howled, the walls trembled, and I prayed none would fall on me. Hurricane Helene was tearing through everything — and I was alone. Somewhere between the gusts and the silence, I wrote this poem. ((Now, I’m not a real writer. So, this feels almost silly, like some sort of “poetry appropriation.”)) It poured out of me in that strange, suspended space where fear and strength coexist — where you realize that even as the storm rages, it’s you who has to keep the lights on, feed yourself, hold yourself together. That night I was reminded:
I am no one’s priority.
I am my own. And though the loneliness had teeth, I was still standing. Even as the world shook around me, I whispered courage to myself. I paid the bills. I made the plans. I did the work. And I built a safe harbor for myself, right there in the eye of the storm. If you’ve ever faced a hurricane — literal or otherwise — alone, this is for you:

I used premade pie crust, jarred cherry pie filling, and whipped up a buttery homemade streusel — baked to golden, bubbling perfection in my gorgeous new @cookwithkuha cast iron pie pan (which I’m obsessed with, btw 😍). ✨ Quick Cherry Streusel Pie Recipe
🥧 1 premade pie crust
🍒 1 (21 oz) jar cherry pie filling
🧈 Streusel: ½ cup flour, ⅓ cup brown sugar, ¼ cup cold butter, pinch of cinnamon ((I tripled mine, and froze the rest in a bag for later!)) 👉 Preheat oven to 375°F.
👉 Press the pie crust into a 9” pie pan. Pour in the cherry pie filling.
👉 In a bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Cut in the butter with a fork until crumbly.
👉 Sprinkle the streusel evenly over the top.
👉 Bake 35–40 min, until bubbly and golden. Cool slightly, then serve with vanilla ice cream. INGREDIENTS: 1-2 Russet Potatoes, sliced into thicker than 1/4” and thinner than 1/2’’ thick slices. (Got it, good!) 1 TBS Olive Oil Salt and Pepper Preheat your oven to 425 degrees. Slice your potatoes. Toss with olive oil, salt and pepper. Roast on a parchment paper lined baking tray for 20-25 minutes. Remove and devour! Top these with cheese and bacon for a decadent side dish!
