Quick & Easy White Queso Dip

Quick and easy white queso like you have at your local mexican restaurant is so much easier than you think! It’s two ingredients, plus whatever mix-ins you like best!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. White American Cheese (I ask for a block or slices from the deli in the market!)
  • 1, 12 ounce can Evaporated Milk

Mix In Ideas:

  • Green Chilis
  • Diced Jalapenos
  • Ground Cumin
  • Chorizo
  • Beans
  • Cilantro

Instructions

  1. In a double broiler over medium heat (make sure you top pot/bowl is not touching the water in the pot beneath!), melt your cheese and evaporated milk together.
  2. This take about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. 
  3. After everything is melted, you can stir in any additional mix-ins you’d like to try!
  4. Alternatively, you could plop all of this into a little baby crock pot, let it cook on low heat for a couple of hours and serve from there!
