Ingredients
Scale
CHICKEN MARINADE
- 2 Chicken Breasts sliced into thin strips
- 2 tsp Montreal Steak Seasoning
- 2 tsp Ranch Powder
- 2 TBS Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 TBS Olive Oil
HOT HONEY BUFFALO SAUCE
- 2 TBS Butter
- 1 TBS Hot Honey, plus extra for drizzling later!
- 2 TBS Buffalo Sauce (I prefer Frank’s Red brand)
Instructions
- Add your sliced chicken to a large bowl.
- Add the two teaspoons of Montreal Steak Seasoning and Ranch powder, the two tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce, and one tablespoon of olive oil.
- Mix these around with your hands until each piece of chicken is coated well.
- Let this sit for 20 minutes while your wooden skewers soak.
- After 20 minutes, thread the chicken onto the soaked skewers, making sure you thread the chicken tightly.
- Place on your air fryer’s rack and air fry at 375˚ for 12 minutes.
- Meanwhile, the chicken air fries are made with Hot Honey Buffalo Sauce.
- In a small pot (or skillet), melt two tablespoons of butter with one tablespoon of hot honey and two tablespoons of buffalo sauce over medium heat. Let this come to a simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Remove the chicken and flip it in the air fryer, swiping the Hot Honey Buffalo Sauce over each skewer before air frying again.
- Air fry the chicken skewers for 10 minutes at 400˚.
- Swipe the remaining buffalo sauce on top of the chicken skewers and an extra drizzle of hot honey.
- Serve immediately!
Notes
- You can use regular honey if you’d like, or you don’t have hot honey.
- Sliced chicken thighs work well, too.
- I used the 6-inch bamboo skewers, so this would make a fantastic appetizer!
