Grilled Cheese

The BEST grilled cheese & tomato soup you will ever make! A few easy pantry staples, and you have a meal within 10 minutes. Great for busy weeknights!

Ingredients

  • Bread (any kind will do. I like the Wheatberry, or Oat kind. But, plain white bread works, too!)
  • Mayo
  • American cheese
  • Butter

Instructions

  1. Slather each slice of bread with a thin layer of mayo, crust to crust. Top with a double layer of cheese slices. Put the “lid” of the sandwich on, then slather BOTH sides with softened butter, crust to crust.
  2. Toast in a skillet over medium high heat. Pressing the sandwich down as the cheese melts. Cut crosswise, and serve immediately!
