Roasted Cranberry Chicken Recipe (Best & Easy!)

  • Author: Sweetpea
  • Prep Time: 5
  • Cook Time: 35
  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 4 1x
  • Category: main dish
  • Method: oven-baked
  • Cuisine: american

Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 Chicken Breasts, boneless skinless
  • Smash Seasoning, or 1 tsp House Seasoning (see notes)
  • 1 package Onion Soup Mix
  • 1, 14-ounce can of Whole berry Cranberry Sauce
  • 8 ounces French Dressing (substitute Catalina if you need/want to!)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350˚.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk the onion soup mix with the cranberry sauce and French dressing.
  3. In a greased baking dish, add in your chicken breasts and season both sides with Smash Seasoning (or whatever seasoning you’re using!).
  4. Pour the cranberry sauce mixture over the chicken, and cover with aluminum foil.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
  6. Serve with a side dish of choice and enjoy!

Notes

Slow Cooker Instructions:

  1. Spray your slow cooker and add in your chicken breasts. Season on both sides, then pour the sauce on top. I like to give the chicken a little “twirl” so the sauce gets on the bottom a bit, ensuring nothing burns.
  2. Slow cook on low for 4-6 hours, or on high for 2-4 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through.

HOUSE SEASONING

  • 1/4 cup garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup onion powder
  • 1/4 cup kosher salt
  • 1/8 cup black pepper
  1. Mix all of these ingredients together and store in a jar close to your stove top.
