Description

Cathy’s Chicken Recipe is the warm and comforting chicken casserole recipe idea you crave any time of year!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 1 TBS House Seasoning (recipe in notes)
  • 10.5 oz can Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream
  • Juice of one Lemon
  • 2 tsp Dried Basil


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350˚.
  2. Spray a baking dish, and lay the chicken breast down in the dish.
  3. Sprinkle one tablespoon of House Seasoning over top the chicken.
  4. In a medium bowl stir together 10.5 ounces Cream of Mushroom Soup, 1/2 cup of Sour Cream, the juice of one lemon, and 2 teaspoons dried basil.
  5. Pour this sauce over the chicken, and spread over the top.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil.
  7. Bake at 350˚ for 45-60 minutes until the chicken reaches in internal temperature of 165˚.
  8. Serve with rice and a vegetable of your choice!

Notes

HOUSE SEASONING:

  • 1/4 cup garlic powder
  • 1/4 onion powder
  • 1/4 kosher salt
  • 1/8 cup black pepper

Mix all of these ingredients together in a jar, and use as often as you can!
