Description

Swiss Chicken Casserole is the easy recipe your family will love for dinner time any night of the week! Filled with rice, chicken, and a creamy swiss cheese sauce, this easy chicken bake recipe will be your new favorite comfort food!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box of Uncle Ben’s Wild Rice with the Seasonings
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Shredded Chicken
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream
  • 1/2 cup Mayo
  • 1 tsp House Seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Swiss Cheese

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350˚.

In a large bowl combine the box of rice plus the seasoning packet, one can of cream of chicken soup, plus one cup of milk. Whisk together to combine and coat each piece of rice.

Pour this mixture into a greased baking dish. (If using non-stick, you can dump and mix inside the baking dish)

Add your shredded chicken to the top of the rice and soup mixture.

In a small bowl, mix half a cup of sour cream, half a cup of mayonnaise, a teaspoon of house seasoning, half a cup of shredded parmesan cheese, and half a cup of shredded swiss cheese.

Spread over the top of the chicken and rice mixture.

Cover with aluminum foil and bake covered for one hour, uncovered for the last 20 minutes.

Remove from the oven and allow to sit for 10 minutes before serving to your hungry people!

Notes

House Seasoning is 1/4 cup onion powder, 1/4 cup garlic powder, 1/4 cup kosher salt, 1/8 cup black pepper all mixed together. Use this on (almost) everything!

You can freeze this casserole! Freeze before you bake it.
