Description

Easy Stuffed Jalapenos you can enjoy now or later! These are the perfect appetizer recipe to serve at any party, especially a game day party!


Ingredients

  • 16 ounces Pimento Cheese
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup Sliced Green Onions
  • 1/2 lb. Ground Sausage, browned
  • 12 Fresh Jalapenos, sliced in half, seeds and membrane removed.


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl combine the 16 ounces of pimento cheese, 8 ounces of cream cheese, and 1/4 cup of sliced green onions until well incorporated.
  2. Add the cooled brown sausage to the cheese mixture, and mix again until distributed evenly.
  3. Wearing gloves, slice each pepper in half and remove the seeds plus membranes.
  4. Fill each pepper with the sausage and cheese mixture, and place on a baking sheet tray.
  5. Bake the stuffed peppers at 350˚ for 45-60 minutes, until the tops are golden brown and the peppers are soft.
  6. Serve immediately with ranch or blue cheese dressing!


Notes

FREEZING AND REHEATING INSTRUCTIONS:

If you’d like to freeze the baked stuffed jalapenos, place them on a parchment paper-lined sheet pan. Freeze for 1 hour, then remove and place in a freezer-safe ziptop bag.

Reheat the stuffed jalapenos at 350˚ for 8-10 minutes either in an air fryer or oven.
