Sister Schubert’s Cinnamon Bread (Pull Apart Recipe)

  • Author: Sweetpea

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 8 1x
  • Category: breakfast
  • Method: oven-baked
  • Cuisine: american

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Stick Melted Butter (8 tablespoons)
  • 1 cup Packed Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Chai Seasoning
  • 1 pan Sister Schubert’s Parkerhouse Rolls

ICING

  • 2 ounces Softened Cream Cheese
  • 2 TBS Softened Butter
  • 2 TBS Heavy Cream
  • 1/4 tsp Vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mix the stick of melted butter, one cup of packed brown sugar, one teaspoon of cinnamon, and one teaspoon of chai seasoning together until well incorporated.
  3. Remove the Sister Schubert’s rolls from the packaging, and slice through the middle of the rolls. Try to keep them together as best as possible.
  4. Remove the top layer of the rolls, and spread the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly across the bottom-half of the rolls.
  5. Replace the tops of the rolls, and if you have some remaining cinnamon sugar, spread it over the top.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes. Watch the top closely, so the sugar doesn’t burn.
  7. While your rolls bake, mix up the icing.
  8. In a mixing bowl, add in the 2 ounces of softened cream cheese, 2 tablespoons of softened butter, 2 tbs heavy cream, and a quarter teaspoon of vanilla. Whisk until there are no lumps. Add a teaspoon of cream at a time to get the consistency you desire. Make it as runny as you’d like!
  9. Remove the rolls from the oven, and pour the icing over top.
  10. Serve immediately, or enjoy later!
