Ingredients
Scale
- 1 Stick Melted Butter (8 tablespoons)
- 1 cup Packed Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Chai Seasoning
- 1 pan Sister Schubert’s Parkerhouse Rolls
ICING
- 2 ounces Softened Cream Cheese
- 2 TBS Softened Butter
- 2 TBS Heavy Cream
- 1/4 tsp Vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- In a mixing bowl, mix the stick of melted butter, one cup of packed brown sugar, one teaspoon of cinnamon, and one teaspoon of chai seasoning together until well incorporated.
- Remove the Sister Schubert’s rolls from the packaging, and slice through the middle of the rolls. Try to keep them together as best as possible.
- Remove the top layer of the rolls, and spread the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly across the bottom-half of the rolls.
- Replace the tops of the rolls, and if you have some remaining cinnamon sugar, spread it over the top.
- Bake at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes. Watch the top closely, so the sugar doesn’t burn.
- While your rolls bake, mix up the icing.
- In a mixing bowl, add in the 2 ounces of softened cream cheese, 2 tablespoons of softened butter, 2 tbs heavy cream, and a quarter teaspoon of vanilla. Whisk until there are no lumps. Add a teaspoon of cream at a time to get the consistency you desire. Make it as runny as you’d like!
- Remove the rolls from the oven, and pour the icing over top.
- Serve immediately, or enjoy later!
