Notes

Ready to take your green beans recipe to the next level? Give any of these a try for added flavor!

  • Parmesan Cheese – add this to the frozen green beans after you’ve drizzled on melted butter. Be careful with salt content though, parmesan cheese is salty, so you may want to use less kosher salt! ((Do you need a vegan option?? Use nutritional yeast instead of cheese!))
  • Fresh Garlic – mince up a few cloves of fresh garlic and take your tasty side dish over the top to a five star rating! It’s a great way to pack flavor into a plain veggie!
  • Cayenne Pepper – if you like a pep in your step, this is a great option for a spicy kick!
  • Bacon Grease – substitute melted bacon grease for melted butter. Talk about true comfort food!!

HOUSE SEASONING:

  • 1/4 cup garlic powder
  • 1/4 onion powder
  • 1/4 kosher salt
  • 1/8 cup black pepper

Mix all of these ingredients together in a jar, and use it as often as you can!
