  • Cuisine: american

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 sleeves of Saltine Crackers
  • 1 3/4 cup Neutral Oil, vegetable or canola
  • 4 TBS Ranch Seasoning
  • 2 TBS Smokehouse Maple Seasoning
  • 1 TBS Red Pepper Flakes, optional

Instructions

  1. Open a large, 2-gallon sized Ziplock bag and pour the four sleeves of crackers into the bag. I like to separate them from their “line up.”
  2. In a mason jar, pour in the 1 3/4 cups of oil, 4 tablespoons of Ranch seasoning, 2 tablespoons of Smokehouse Maple Seasoning, and 1 tablespoon of red pepper flakes. Screw the lid on and give this a super good shake!
  3. Pour this seasoned oil mixture over the crackers, then zip the bag closed well!
  4. Now, you’ll flip the bag repeatedly to get all the crackers coated. Gently flip the bag! Do this for 2-3 minutes (set a timer if needed!).
  5. Then, leave it on your counter and flip it every hour or so. Let the oil and seasoned mixture work their magic for at least 8 hours; overnight is best.
  6. Serve however you’d like!
  7. I like to transfer my seasoned crackers to a fresh bag, that way my hands aren’t covered in seasoning each time I reach in for a “hit.”
