North Carolina Chicken is the Georgia Pot Roasts white friend who’s incredibly simple to make!
Ingredients

- 3–4 Chicken Breasts, boneless and skinless
- 1 packet Ranch Seasoning (or 3 tablespoons)
- 1 packed Chicken Gravy
- 1 jar Mt. Olive Pickles Simply Vidalia
Instructions
DUTCH OVEN VERSION
- In the bottom of your dutch oven, over medium high heat, sear each chicken breast in a tablespoon of olive oil.
- Sprinkle the seasoning packets over the chicken, and dump the entire jar of pickled onions on top.
- Put the lid on and bake covered at 350˚ for 1.5 hours.
- After 45 minutes, check the chicken to see how it’s doing. If you need some more liquid add a cup of water or chicken broth.
- When the chicken shreds easily, shred it up and serve!
SLOW COOKER VERSION
- In the bottom of your slow cooker add one cup of water or chicken broth.
- Place chicken breasts in the bottom and sprinkle the seasoning packets over top.
- Pour the entire jar of pickled onions on top.
- Put the lid on the slow cooker, and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-4 hours.
- Shred the chicken and serve!
