Description

The Grinder Salad Recipe is a viral recipe for a reason! Everything you love about an Italian grinder sandwich, made into a salad!


Ingredients

GRINDER SALAD DRESSING:

  • 1 cup mayo
  • 2 TBS Red Wine Vinegar
  • 2 TBS Banana Peppers + Brine
  • 1 TBS Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp House Seasoning (see note)
  • 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • Optional: 1 TBS Parmesan Cheese

SALAD INGREDIENTS:

  • 6 cups Shredded Romaine or Iceberg Lettuce
  • 2 Tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 Shallot, sliced
  • 1 Cucumber, sliced
  • 1/4 lb. Mortadella, sliced
  • 1/4 lb. Salami, sliced
  • 1/4 lb. Deli Ham, sliced
  • 1/4 lb. Capicola, sliced
  • Croutons


Instructions

  1. Mix your salad dressing together, and store in the fridge for up to 5 days beforehand.
  2. Assemble your salad on a big platter (I really like using plan half sheet pans!), and serve dressing on the side.

Notes

HOUSE SEASONING:

  • 1/4 cup Onion Powder
  • 1/4 cup Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 cup Kosher Salad
  • 1/8 cup Black Pepper
