Blackened Salmon Bites with Garlic Honey Butter

  • Author: Sweetpea

Description

Blackened Salmon Bites with Garlic Honey Butter is an incredible recipe with just a few simple ingredients and your broiler for an easy dinner!

Ingredients

Scale

Salmon Bites

  • 1, 8 ounce Salmon Fillet, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1 TBS Olive Oil
  • 1 TBS Blackening Seasoning

Honey Garlic Glaze

  • 1 TBS Honey
  • 1 Garlic Clove, grated
  • 2 TBS Butter

Instructions

  1. Turn your broiler on high.
  2. To a bowl, add your bite-sized pieces of salmon.
  3. Add 1/4 teaspoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and 1 tablespoon of blackening seasoning over the salmon.
  4. Using your hands, mix really well until every piece of salmon is coated well. Set to the side.
  5. To make your Honey Garlic Glaze, in a small bowl, add the 1 tablespoon of honey and 2 tablespoons of butter.
  6. Using a microplane, carefully grate the garlic clove over the butter and honey.
  7. Pop this bowl into the microwave for 15 seconds to melt the butter. Stir to combine, and set aside.
  8. When you’re ready to broil your salmon, line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. (We don’t use parchment paper here because parchment paper burns past 400˚!)
  9. Lay out your salmon pieces with 1-2 inches between each piece.
  10. Broil on high for 2-3 minutes, then flip to the other side.
  11. Drizzle the honey butter glaze over top, and serve!
