Angry Lasagna Recipe

#10 Angry Lasagna

This recipe has y’all going absolutely nuts for lasagna! Since it was posted YEARS ago, it’s been in the top 10. It’s filled with fire-roasted tomatoes and spicy Italian sausage. Smoked Mozzarella and lots of ricotta give it that creamy dreamy texture you know and love in lasagna.  This recipe makes enough for a CROWD, and I mean crowd! The *best* part about this recipe: you need to make it ahead of time. Win-win!

Well, I’m not sure what is more appropriate… Individual Cheeseboards seemed to be the theme of the year. With social distancing and staying home and safe, this was the perfect “recipe” to have your cheese and eat it too. All your favorite cheese board items, on one cute wooden plate, for you to enjoy by yourself or six-feet apart from your neighbors, outside.

Italian Zucchini Bake is the recipe you need in the summertime when your zucchini is spilling over into your neighbor’s driveway. You chop a whole mess of it up with onions and roast them until soft. Then, pour a red sauce over top and sprinkle on mozzarella cheese. If you need an easy low carb side dish recipe idea, this is it!

# 5 Dilly Ranch Cheez Its

Well, here is the super bowl snack of all snacks! It’s the car-rideable, on the go, edible gift idea that you need to make pronto. Cheez-it crackers are coated in ranch seasoning and fresh dill then baked until deliciously crunchy! These don’t keep long because people will be snacking over and over on them.

cheese board, charcuterie board, grazing board ideas

#4 Cheeseboard Roundup

Well, I had declared 2019 the year of the cheese board, and boy does it show! This post was written in 2019 but really took off in 2020… With over 45 different boards to see, you can see examples of all kinds. I did get a lot of flack for it being a “misleading title” — but, people still spent lots of time on this post.

easy keto egg bake is a delicious start to any morning!

#3 Easy Keto Egg Bake

Another SUPER easy egg bake that is low carb and keto-friendly. This one is something I make on a Sunday evening and eat in the mornings when I’m getting ready. Blogging can be rather isolating. It is so rewarding to read comments from you all – good or bad! – and realize that there are people all over the world making my recipes. THAT is why I started Sweetpea Lifestyle – to share simple entertaining ideas and easy recipes that help you gather your people around the table. Life starts at the table, and when you have good food to share with others, the community is built.

Top 10 Posts of 2020 by Sweetpea Lifestyle

I’ve learned so much this year, I hope you did too. The one thing that I truly learned was that gathering around the table is sacred, and should never be taken for granted. My last dinner party was Alison Roman Night. It seems like a lifetime away, but also it feels like it was just last weekend…

Cheers to 2021 – can you believe it?!

Tell me what you’d like to see in the future below in the comments. I love creating for you all!
