Summertime Salad Recipes Roundup

Summertime Salad Recipes are plentiful — I’ve compiled a list of dozens that are sure to keep you happy, healthy, and loving the summertime days!

My favorite salads are housed right here on Sweetpea, and I’ll share the ones I make for myself over and over…

Chopped Wedge Salad Recipe

I have literally become obsessed with this Chopped Iceberg Salad with Garlic Lemon Sour Cream Dressing.

I know iceberg has a bad reputation going for it, but I can’t get enough of the lettuce, and it’s high time we bring it back.

One way to really get people raving about your salads is dressing and seasoning as you assemble.

Before you even begin to “cook” your salad, be sure to have all your ingredients gathered and ready to go.

You want your counter to look like the salad bar at Ruby Tuesdays! ?

Once the iceberg lettuce is cut, I squeeze lemon juice, and sprinkle salt and pepper on top before giving it a very hefty toss.

This little extra attention that’s given to *just* the lettuce makes all the difference for any of your summertime salad recipes!

Does it take more time? Yep! Sure does!

Does it make a major difference? Yep, sure does!

Another favorite in the rotation is this Ultimate Burger Cobb Salad

It’s your low carb ticket to burger heaven.

And, it’s neat and tidy — since you eat it with a fork and knife!

grilled lettuce

Grilling wedges of romaine lettuce is a great way to get a smokey flavor to your bland lettuce.

Once again, paying extra attention to drizzling olive oil and giving a pleasant sprinkle of salt and pepper on top.

You don’t have to leave in the wedges, either — you can chop it up at this point and create any tossed salad recipe.

Summertime salad recipes are a great way to use up leftovers, too.

This Salmon Niçoise Salad uses leftover baked salmon and all kinds of veggies, fresh from the garden.
