Ingredients
Scale
- 10 lb Spiral-Cut Ham
- 1 cup Water
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 cup Orange Juice
- 1 TBS Mustard
Instructions
- Remove all the packaging from your ham, and place in a roasting pan.
- Pour 1 cup of water in the bottom of the roasting pan.
- Cover tightly with aluminum foil.
- Place in a COLD OVEN. Then, turn the oven to 350˚.
- Bake 10-15 minutes per pound. For a 10-lb ham, you’ll cook the ham for 2.5 hours.
- After 1.5 hours of cooking, remove the ham from the oven, and remove foil.
- Using a turkey baster, pickup the juices that have pooled in the bottom of the pan, and run them all over the ham. Do this every 15 minutes for the last hour. (Four times total!)
- In a small saucepan, add in your one cup of brown sugar, one cup of orange juice, and one tablespoon of mustard. Bring this to a boil, stir to evenly combined, and reduce by half.
- During the last 15 minutes of cook time, brush the ham with the glaze 2-3 times, placing back in the oven each time. Keeping a close eye not to let it burn.
- Once the ham is glazed, and gorgeous, remove from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
