This old-fashioned Notecard Coleslaw recipe comes straight from Grandma Toni’s fridge! Creamy, tangy, and simple, it’s the perfect side dish for BBQs, picnics, or weeknight dinners. Includes both the classic recipe and an easy adapted version you can make with pantry staples.
Ingredients
Original Notecard Dressing (Grandma Toni’s Recipe):

¼ cup half & half

¼ cup white vinegar

½ cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon sugar

Salt, pepper, celery seeds (to taste)
Adapted Dressing (Ashley’s “Similar-ish” Version):

1 cup mayonnaise

¼ cup apple cider vinegar
-
2 tablespoons sugar
-
1 teaspoon dried minced onion
-
Salt & pepper (to taste)
For Both:

1 bag (14 oz) shredded coleslaw mix (cabbage + carrots)
Instructions

In a medium bowl, whisk together the dressing ingredients (choose either version).

Toss the dressing with the coleslaw mix until evenly coated.

Chill for at least 1 hour before serving for best flavor.
