BALSAMIC BROWN SUGAR BRUSSELS SPROUTS

The original photo was taken on my parent’s living room side table… We were about to eat, I needed to snap a photo, so I plopped it under the brightest lamp… and snapped the photo with my iPhone from 2013.

Last year, I had the photos updated >> Swipe to see the original! Ha!

These brussels sprouts are cooked in bacon grease (yum), drizzled with a brown sugar balsamic slurry (yum), and are roasted to golden brown crisp perfection.

The sweet and tangy flavor pairs well with any meal!

They’ll turn brussel haters to brussel lovers in one bite.

Grandma’s Dressing Recipe!

The second most searched clicked and loved recipe on Sweetpea Lifestyle.

It’s what Thanksgiving Dreams are made of, and no holiday in our home is complete without it.

Fluffy Italian-style bread is tossed with warm thanksgiving spices like sage, and marjoram.

Simmered on the stove is copious amounts of butter with onions and celery.

All of this is mixed together and homemade turkey stock is ladled over until the perfect consistency is reached.

Lovingly baked until crispy on the edges and sumptuous in the center!

There is a reason why people love this recipe so much — it reminds them of their mom’s recipe, their grandmother’s recipe, their aunt’s recipe…

Nostalgia plays into this recipe, and you too will be transported to another era when you eat it!

This Green Onion Chip Dip with 5️⃣ simple ingredients!

It’s almost always in my fridge…

Center the dip around chips, raw veggies, and a big stack of chicken wings for a complete platter, perfect for couch gating!

Here’s what you need:

🥚 Duke’s Real Mayonnaise
🥛 Sour Cream
🧅 Green Onions
🧂 Salt & Pepper
🥯 Everything but the Bagel Seasoning

Stir all this together in a bowl, and let it sit for an hour before serving… I like to do it the night before, so it’s ready to go for me!

Why not give this SUPER Easy Keto Egg Bake a try?!

Here’s what you need:

🥓 Sausage (Bacon works too!)
🧅 Onions
🥚 Eggs
🧀 Cheese
🥛 Cream
🧂 Salt & Pepper

✅ If you’re a planner, go ahead and brown the sausage and onions the night before. Store in the fridge until the next morning. You can also mix up your eggs, cream, cheese, salt, and pepper and store those too!

🥣 When you’re ready to “cook” pour the sausage + onions into a baking dish, followed by the egg mixture.

Bake at 375˚ until golden brown on top! (For me, that’s about 25 minutes! Your oven may vary!)

On your table with fresh OJ + 🍾 add tomatoes and avocados to top your egg bake!

This one might be my favorite out of all the No-Cook Appetizers EVER…⁣

Tomato Bruschetta! I used to HATE raw tomatoes… But, since Covid changed my taste buds, I am in love with fresh tomatoes..!⁣
⁣
This is both spicy from fresh garlic and shallots, zippy from the red wine vinegar and capers, and the bright acidic hit you crave from the tomatoes. Add a sprinkle of fresh basil, and the whole thing just *sings!*⁣

TOMATO SALAD:⁣
⁣
🍅 2 cups cut-up tomatoes⁣
🧄 3-6 garlic cloves, minced (I grate mine over my microplane)⁣
🧅 1 shallot, finely diced⁣
2 TBS red wine vinegar⁣
1 TBS capers (with the brine)⁣
2 TBS Fresh basil, torn⁣
⁣
🥣 Mix all these up REALLY well, so the garlic and shallots distribute well. Allow chilling in the fridge for an hour before serving on grilled bread, or on top of grilled chicken! ⁣
⁣
This is also delicious tossed with mozzarella pearls for an unbelievable Caprese salad.⁣
⁣
If you need an even better combination… Give this a try!⁣
⁣
Combine a 5-ounce round of @boursincheese with 3 ounces of feta cheese.⁣
⁣
Make sure this comes as close to room temperature as you can allow, then spread over toasty Garlic & Herb Bruschetta.⁣
⁣
If you included the tomato salad on top, it wouldn’t be the worst thing… 😉⁣
