Filling:
- 4 large Sweet Potatoes, cut into cubes
- ¼ cup Milk
- ¼ cup Butter, melted
- ½ cup Brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- Pinch of Nutmeg
Topping
- ½ cup Brown Sugar
- ½ cup Flour
- 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
- ¼ cup Butter, melted
- 1 bag Marshmallows
Instructions
- Boil the cubed sweet potatoes for about 10 minutes or until fork tender. Then preheat the oven to 375℉.
- Place the softened potatoes in the large bowl, then add in the milk, butter, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg for the filling.
- Beat until smooth, then pour into an 8 X 8-inch baking dish.
- Stir together all topping ingredients except for the marshmallows. Then, gently spread this mixture on top of the sweet potato mixture. It’s best to drop spoonfuls of the topping on top, then gently spread with the back of a spoon.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, then add marshmallows and broil on high until the marshmallows start to golden. Keep an eye on them so it doesn’t burn; it will be quick.
- Allow to cool slightly before enjoying it!
Notes
- If you are making this ahead of time, wait to add and broil the marshmallows until just before serving; the marshmallows may shrink when cooled.
