Description

This Boursin Marinara Dip is my go-to when I want something crowd-pleasing without any effort. It’s creamy, tangy, herby, and absolutely perfect for scooping with hunks of crusty bread

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 jar marinara sauce (Rao’s or Carbone recommended)

  • 1 wheel (5.2 oz) Boursin cheese (Basil & Chive recommended)

  • Optional: Balsamic glaze, fresh basil leaves

  • Soft Italian or French bread, for serving

Instructions

  • Pour marinara sauce into the bottom of your serving dish.

    • For a crowd: use a full jar.

    • For a small group: use a pizza sauce-sized jar.

  • Crumble the Boursin cheese over the sauce.

  • Optional: drizzle with balsamic glaze and tear fresh basil overtop.

  • Serve as-is with untoasted hunks of bread or bake at 350°F for 10–15 minutes until warm and melty.

  • Let guests dip and scoop straight from the dish!

Notes

For a large crowd, I’ll make this in a shallow bowl about 12″ wide, using a full24-ounce jar of marinara sauce. I’ll use TWO wheels of Boursin cheese. I personally prefer using the Basil & Chive AND the Shallot & Chive flavors for the “big” version of this easy appetizer.

For the smaller version, I used the 7.5″ by 6″ Staub baking dish. That holds a 12.3 ounce jar of pizza sauce, and one wheel of Boursin cheese.
