  • Category: salads
  • Method: no cook
  • Cuisine: American

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 TBS Ranch Powder (Or one packet, plus a tablespoon. See my notes!)
  • ¼ cup BBQ sauce
  • Optional: pinch of smoked paprika or chipotle powder

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl or jar, whisk everything together.
  2. Chill for at least 30 minutes for the best flavor.
  3. Serve as a dressing, dip, or drizzle on literally everything.

Notes

I make my “homemade” ranch according to how my grandmother made it. She would use four tablespoons. One packet of ranch seasoning (Hidden Valley brand, I haven’t tested others!) is three tablespoons. Now, I buy the shaker jar of the ranch powder and measure with a tablespoon. If you don’t have this jar, and don’t want to open another packet, three tablespoons is just fine!
