Perfect Steak.

I’m glad Paleo is carnivore centered… I love beef. Good beef. Nothing fancy – just a grilled steak.

I marinate my steak for about half an hour before hand.

Here’s my recipe:

A few tablespoons of Dale’s Seasoning (I do make my own, equal parts soy sauce & worcestershire sauce. And a tablespoon of Montreal Steak Seasoning.)

Easy, huh?!

While your steaks are taking a swim, fire up your grill. You want a hot, hot, hot flame. These babies need to cook fast.

I cooked this steak, which was about an inch thick, for 4 minutes each side. I like my cow almost mooing, so this is for a rarer-medium-rare steak. The key is only turning your steak ONCE. And only once. When you go to flip it, if the steak is still clinging to the grates, he’s not ready to be turned. Wait! He’ll let you know when it’s time!

Once the steaks come off the grill, set them on a plate to rest. Gently cover and set a timer for 10 minutes.

Just before serving, add a few grinds of pepper and a sprinkle of Fleur de Sel salt.

I like to serve my steaks with roasted potatoes and an Everyday Salad.

Easy!

This is a quick supper any night of the week. Great the next day over a chopped salad!
